Curaçao Sea Report

The daily Snorkelscore for the west coast — which bay has the good water today?

How the Snorkelscore works

Every bay on the west coast opens toward the sea in its own direction. The score starts at 10 and loses points for waves and wind pushing into the bay, and for recent rain that washes sediment into the water. A sheltered inlet can score an 8 on a day the open coast scores a 4. The score is a forecast-based estimate: it tells you where the odds are good, not a guarantee.

These scores are computed from marine and weather forecasts. From October 2026, when our boat is on the coast daily, reports get verified from the water each morning.
